The Start of EPS Recycling

Alot of people beleive that polystyrene is not recyclable; this not the case as polystyrene 100% recycable.

Kay-Metzeler has bee recyclimng polystyrene for the past 15 years, but on 8 July 2006, Kay-Metzler EPS Division opened its first recycling point in Chelmsford and the southeast region, Simon Burns MP for Chelmsford was there for the opening along with the children from St Cedds School.

                                   

Our aim is to reduce the amount of scrap polystyrene going to landfill and gave the opportunity for the local community and local businesses to have a drop off point. Kay-Metzeler Ltd site Brook Street, Chelmsford, was only too pleased to offer this facility.
